We're a small team of parents, engineers, and educators who got tired of handing screens to our kids at bedtime. So we built something better — a place where AI and imagination meet to create stories children actually remember.

Stories first
Every decision we make starts with the question: does this make the story better for the child?
Safe by default
We build safety in at every layer — content, data, and design — without asking parents to configure it themselves.
Every language
A child should be able to hear a story in their mother tongue. We're expanding our language support every month.
Magical, not addictive
We deliberately avoid engagement loops. A great bedtime story ends so the child can sleep, not scroll.

The idea
Andrii couldn't find a bedtime story app that felt magical — so he started building one.
First prototype
First AI-generated story created. A dragon named Zara, a child named Sofia, and a very happy parent.
First families
Real families joined beta. Their feedback shaped everything — voices, universes, the hero system.
Going multilingual
Stories in Ukrainian, Polish, Spanish. Because every child deserves a story in their own language.
Public launch
Shally opens to the world. Thousands of unique stories generated in the first month.
Still growing
New universes, new voices, new languages. The adventure continues.
